Private & Group Surf Lessons

Surf lessons are a great way to figure out if you like surfing, have fun with friends or family, or just get out an enjoy nature. Our surf lessons go above and beyond the normal surfing lessons by presenting you with important information such as surf etiquette and surf safety that will leave you feeling more comfortable on your own board in the future.

Private/Group lessons are available for all ages and levels of surfers.
We can provide a soft foam board if you have a younger kid (under 8) that would like to learn how to surf. *Please note if you would like an all-foam board when you sign up.

We can tailor surf lessons to fit your needs. Our surf instructors are fully trained to teach all levels of surfers and have great knowledge of a variety of surf-related information (such as rip-currents, how tides affect surfing, different beach breaks, etc...)
Here's what a typical first-time surf lesson would look like:

5 mins. introductions and parts of the board
15 mins. demonstrating proper paddling and pop-up techniques
and practicing on the sand
5 min. safety talk and checking the surf conditions
1 hour of water time!
(instructors will help you get started on your first wave, point out the best waves to take, and be alongside you answer any questions)
10 mins. of discussing current environmental impacts and/or beach clean-up.
